The Journey we are on is not one of going through the motions. It is not one of simply making a decision. It is one that takes heart. Not just a lot of feeling. Not just a lot of activity. The heart needed for the journey is one of... WORSHIP! If you are going to make it from this place to His (God's) place, you will have to have a regenerated heart. One made new by the Lord Jesus. With God in view, and lots of gratefulness for forgiveness, our hearts are shaped into instruments of worship. It is the heart we must have on the journey. By the way... this is not a Sunday activity. The heart for the journey is a day in, day out heart. To make the journey, you really need to spend time in the presence of God each day... time worshipping Him.  |
